Victor Ballivian
Victor leads Global Trails, our student travel company. Originally from Chile, he now divides his time between Portugal and Costa Rica, where he lives with his wife and young daughter. He speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently, and brings a global perspective to every trip he designs. Outside of work, Victor enjoys playing soccer, exploring new countries, and learning new languages.
Tom Raineri
Tom Ranieri is the founder of Global Trails, originally established as Costa Rican Resource nearly two decades ago. Born in Florida, he first came to Costa Rica on a trip between school years that never ended. Today, he lives in Sitio Mata with his wife and two daughters. After more than 20 years in the country, there is still something new to learn about this country every single day.
