Example Itinerary — Arrive

Welcome to our homestay program. Students will be staying with their host families in the town of Sitio de Mata.

Day 1

Part of tree planing program, we’ll learn about the ecological importance of rainforest trees and gather data to study regrowth.

Day 2

We explore Nortico Cacao Farm and learn about the chocolate making process

Day 3

National Geographic describes the Pacuare as “Paddling through paradise” and you’ll quickly see why.

Day 4

Today is an adventure day at the lodge with ziplining, waterfalls and a Tarzan Swing

Day 5

This is an amazing day of whitewater and you’ll see why the Pacuare is considered a top ten river in the world.
